About Us

Hancock Golf, LLC 2007-present

Joe Hancock founded Hancock Golf, an independent golf course shaping, construction, and project management firm, in 2007. Joe’s 30+ years of experience in the golf industry as a golf course owner, superintendent, construction manager, shaper, and technician gives him a unique perspective on what it takes to create, build, maintain, and operate a successful golf course. Joe’s knowledge of both warm and cool season grasses, various soil types, irrigation, and all aspects of golf course development gives him a wide variety of experiences that are valuable to any project, whether a new build or renovation of an existing facility.
